The concept
Produce-led Atlantic cooking. The menu is short and changes with the seasons; fish and shellfish come from the coast, vegetables from nearby growers. We work with the essential and leave out the rest.
The restaurant
Yes is the restaurant of the Sweet Atlantic Hotel & Spa, in the heart of Figueira da Foz. From the city we inherited the light, the salt and the sea before us — and we bring them to the table, with produce from the coast and the work of two kitchens: Atlantic Portuguese and traditional Indian. Open to hotel guests and visitors alike, for lunch and dinner.

Two kitchens, one reason
Yes was born inside the Sweet Atlantic, facing the sea of Figueira — and grew up with two traditions at the table. On one side, Atlantic Portuguese cooking: fish from the coast, rice made for a spoon, seasoning inherited from the salt pans. On the other, our chef's Indian kitchen, built on spices worked with time and recipes that crossed the Indian Ocean. Not two menus — one whole house, where every table chooses its route.

Chapter I
From Figueira's sea to the table: fish by the day's availability, shellfish from the coast, and the soupy rice dishes that ask for time and a spoon.

Chapter II
House-ground spices, curries with depth and naan straight from the oven — Indian tradition prepared by hands that know it from home.

Figueira da Foz grew up between the river and the salt pans. That memory guides our seasoning and reaches the table — in the bread, the fleur de sel butter, the dishes that call for the sea.
